UBuhlebezwe Local Municipality and Kwa-Zulu Natal Department of Human Settlements are constructing 150 RENTAL housing units, comprising 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments. The units will have parking, social amenities, and supporting public open spaces.

 

The Municipality is hereby calling for EMPLOYED persons who meet the following criteria:

• Must be EMPLOYED on a 6-MONTH or longer contract

• Be competent to contract (i.e.: 21 years old or older, of sound mind)

• Have never received a housing subsidy from the state

• Have never owned property or land by means of a title deed

• South African citizen or have a permanent residence certificate

 

Should you meet the above criteria, please provide the following in order to be considered:

• Certified ID Copy

• Proof of Residence (Must be from Ubuhlebezwe Local Municipality)

• 3-month Bank Statement

• 3-month Pay-Slip

 

Having all documents does not necessarily qualify you for a unit within the development.

 

A selection process will be undertaken prior to the approval of applications.

 

NB: THE UNITS ARE NOT FOR SALE BY UBUHLEBEZWE MUNICIPALITY AS THE UNITS ARE PURELY RENTALS PER THE DOHS COMMUNITY RESIDENTIAL POLICY.
